Heirloom Christening Gown     
Weave an heirloom infant gown for baby's christening in luxurious perle cotton and bambu yarns!

While the original pattern calls for silk with perle cotton, we've substituted Bambu 12 for the silk, making this kit much more affordable. Bambu works beautifully with our 20/2 Pearly Perle yarn.

The fabric has a suble play of matt against shiny, white against off-white woven in single unit Bronson lace spots for a very elegant look.

Woven on a 4-shaft loom; 20" or larger at 36 epi.

This simple garment design is suitable for either a boy or girl, buttons down the entire back for easy on and off and is easy to assemble with pattern diagram shown in the instructions. We include enough yarn for matching booties using a pattern of your choice.


Interweave Press, Design Collection 14 Weaving for Baby is required to weave this kit. Only the yarns needed are included with this purchase.
