These towels are woven with yarns dyed by natural dyers working with Mayan Hands, a fair-trade organization in Guatemala that preserves traditional textile heritage and helps Guatemalan women earn a living doing skilled work.

The naturally dyed yarn may be purchased here at Cotton Clouds with a major percentage of the proceeds being donated to the Mayan Dye Project, helping supply the San Rafael women in Guatemala with income to help provide for their families. To learn more, please visit: Mayan Hands Dye Project
