Remix Towels

Weave up some eco-friendly towels in Remix Light!

Remix is a tweedy, rustic looking yarn that makes it an ideal candidate for towels that can be machine washed and dried with absolutely no fuss.  These towels come out of the dryer wrinkle free and extremely soft and absorbent.

We love Remix and here's why!  Remix Light is 100% recycled yarn made by using a low-impact manufacturing process patented in France.  Remix was the result of over a year of collaborative work between mill and textile engineers. This is one of our all-time favorite yarns and we think you will fall in love with it too!

You are also going to love the easy to weave, rigid heddle pattern that is included in this kit!  This is a beginner project but even the advanced weavers will love this one.  The finished towels are so rewarding!

This pattern is woven in a houndstooth weave structure but instead of using two contrasting colors, we have combined two similar colors in Remix and Cotton for a subtle color and texture effect.

Fabric Description: houndstooth plaid in plain weave

Yarns: Remix Light, 8/4 Cotton and Aurora Earth 8/2 cottons

Equipment needed: Rigid Heddle Loom; 15" weaving width for tea towels or 25" weaving width for hand towels; 10 dent reed; 3 stick shuttles.

Finished size: four 11 1/2" x 20" tea towels or two 22" x 30" hand towels 

Instructions:  Both tea towel and hand towel patterns are included
