Tencel Polychrome Crackle Scarves
This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave these Tencel Polychrome Crackle Scarves that were designed by Susan Wilson for Handwoven Jan/Feb 2014.
These scarves can be woven in bold bright colors or tranquil tones.
We love Tencel for how easy it weaves, the fantastic color selection, how well it drapes, and its affordable price.
Choose the bold bright color selection for a vibrant scarf in darker shades or the tranquil tones for a scarf in more subtle tones.
Tranquil Tones: Blueberry, Azure, Mineral Green, and Grayed Mauve.
Bold Brights: Iris, Royal Blue, Dark Teal, and Amethyst.
Yarns: We've substituted our Tencel for the 20/2 silk called for in the pattern.
Equipment needed: 4-shaft loom; 8" weaving width; 12 dent reed; 3 shuttles; 4 bobbins
Finished size: two scarves 6" x 62" plus 4" fringes.
Instructions needed: Handwoven January/February 2014 from Long Thread Media.
Note: This kit includes all yarns needed to weave these scarves. The pattern can be found in the Handwoven magazine noted above. You will need to purchase this magazine if you don't already own a copy.
