Viking Era Towels
These towels are a great way to pay respect to the weavers who have gone before us by using a draft from the Viking era (analyzed by Agnes Geijer).
It is a wonder how weavers in the tenth century managed to weave this twill on the relatively primitive warp-weighted looms of that era.
You will receive natural plus one color of our 8/2 Aurora Earth cotton to weave six hemmed towels 16" by 24" each. Choose your color below.
Woven on any 4-shaft loom; 24 epi; 17" weaving width with our 8/2 Aurora Earth cotton.
