8/4 Cotton is a strong yarn that works well for warp and weft!
This 8/4 cotton is available in so many colors. It's the perfect yarn to make each of your weavings uniquely yours!
- 800 yds / 8 oz cone
- 8/4 Cotton Maysville Rug Warp
- USA made!
- plain weave: 10-12 epi
- twill: 12 epi for super drapey cloth (good for multiple washing and trips through the dryer) to a sett of 15-16 epi for firm placemat.
Please note that some colors in this yarn may not be colorfast. When combining dark and light colors, we recommend using a color catcher during washing to help prevent color transfer. If you need a yarn that is guaranteed to be colorfast, we recommend our Aurora Earth 8/2 Cotton.

I love this 8/4 for rugs, but I have also used it for dish cloths. It is hard wearing and washes well.

I have used 8/4 cotton rug warp to weave holiday coasters.
The rug warp is so easy to work with, and is perfect for both warp and weft.It washes up very well.
