This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave either two generously sized kitchen towels, one large bath towel, or one cozy shawl.

You're going to love how we've combined Caterpillar Variegated Cotton with our Aurora Earth 8/2 in this project to create a luxurious bath towel, soft and absorbent dish towels, or a cozy shawl to keep you warp on a chilly day. So many possibilities, all in one pattern!
The pattern is written for 23" weaving width, but can easily be adjusted to accommodate any weaving width, such as a 15" or 20" loom.

Weave Structure: plain weave houndstooth
Equipment needed: Rigid heddle or 4-shaft loom; 23” weaving width; 10 dent reed; 3 shuttles.
Yarns: Caterpillar Variegated Cotton; Aurora Earth 8/2 cottons.

Purple Haze and Purple

Finished Dimensions: one large bath towel 18.5" x 56" hemmed, or two kitchen towels 18.5" x 28" hemmed, or one shawl 18.5" x 64" with 4" fringe.

I haven't had a chance to start weaving with it, but the yarn is absolutely beautiful - luscious colors! Everything arrived securely packaged and quickly. I am looking forward to getting started on my project. I enjoyed the small gifts in the package as well. That was a lovely perk! I would highly recommend Cotton Clouds!
What easy and fun towels to weave. Love this kit.
Love the way my shawl came out. The purple haze option is so cheerful and no color bleed from the Caterpillar or Aurora Earth cottons. It finished soft and light and was an interesting, but easy weave.
I have my loom warped and in the proceed of weaving A-Mazing Possibilities. The yarn makes it very easy to weave. The colors on the hounds tooth pattern is mesmerizing. When finished I will have a nice set of towels ready to gift or for personal use. I love trying different patterns and yarn these kits offered without a huge investment into yarn and patterns I may not like. It is a win win.
