This is a one-of-a-kind, finished handwoven scarf that is ready to wear—only one is available.

Named for the Greek goddess of love and beauty, this handwoven scarf celebrates the spirit of creativity and elegance. According to Hesiod’s Theogony, Aphrodite was born from the foam of the waters at Paphos, Cyprus, and was said to be the most beautiful of all goddesses. Beloved by all, she calms the seas, brings meadows to bloom, and inspires awe in all who behold her.

This scarf is a tribute to the weaving goddesses who delight in creating and wearing works of beauty. Thoughtfully designed and handwoven by Jodi Ybarra, it is finished and ready to wear, bringing a touch of grace and elegance to your wardrobe.

A beautiful blend of rayon bouclé and eyelash chenille creates a soft, plush texture that feels as luxurious as it looks

Finished size: approx. 13" x 68" plus 6" twisted fringe

 Care: hand wash is recommended.

Beautiful scarf

I finished weaving this scarf and now working on twisting the fringe. It is my first experience with the Zig Zag yarn and was such a pleasure! This pattern uses it in the warp along with the other yarns then is plain weave for entire weft. It glides through the warp and is very easy to a keep an 8ppi. Highly recommend this kit for a beautiful scarf!
