Arachne Napkins
This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave these Arachne Napkins that was designed by Elisabeth Hill for Easy Weaving with Little Looms Winter 2023.
Did you know that you can create pictures in your weaving? Elisabeth wove these brilliantly planned napkins using pick-up to create images of a spider and her webs.
The original napkins are woven in 22/2 Cottolin which is very similar to our Aurora Earth 8/2 cotton. You can order this kit using Aurora Earth 8/2 Cotton in Gold or in the other color options we're offering.
Weave structure: Plain weave with weft floats
Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 Cotton
Equipment needed: rigid heddle loom; 18" weaving width; 12 dent reed; one pick-up stick; 2 shuttles.
Finished size: four napkins, 15½" × 16" each plus one practice sample.
