Bamboo Cotton Extended Length Vest

Woven with Bamboo Cotton 8/2, the finished fabric has lovely drape, softness, and a subtle sheen—ideal for an extended vest you’ll reach for throughout the year. The yarns weave up smoothly, making this an approachable project while still offering a deeply satisfying weaving experience.

Weave structure: plain weave

Yarns: Bamboo Cotton 8/2; 2000 yds each in two coordinating colors. (Shown in Periwinkle/Charcoal) Extra yardage is supplied for sizing adjustments.

Equipment needed: rigid heddle or 4-shaft loom; 10” weaving width; 10-dent reed; 1 shuttle.

Finished size: shoulder to bottom edge 27", circumference around bottom including adjustable overlap in front 48", shoulder width 16 1/2".
