Beachcomber Towels

Capture the serene beauty of the beach with this set of towels that were designed by Dana Lutz for Easy Weaving with Little Looms Spring 2025.

Embracing the soothing hues of sand and driftwood, these towels are light and airy and feature a delicate blend of color.

Weave structure: plain weave with pick-up

Yarns: Duet Cotton/Linen and Aurora Earth 8/2 Cotton     

Equipment needed:  Rigid heddle loom; 18” weaving width; 12 or 12.5 dent reed; 2 pick-up sticks, 4 shuttles.

Finished size: three towels 16" x 26" hemmed.

Instructions needed: Easy Weaving with Little Looms Spring 2025, pages 75 and 82-83.

This kit includes all the yarns needed to weave these towels. The pattern can be found in the magazine noted above.  You will need to purchase this magazine if you don't already own a copy.
