This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave this Bejeweled Throw that was designed by Nancy Dunlap for Handwoven Jan/Feb 2020.

Cotton is always my yarn of choice for weaving, and this throw made with 8/4 cotton is just the right yarn for comfort, softness and strength.

Although this blanket is not actually woven with jewels, this shadow weave gives us the effect of being decorated or bejeweled.

This will be your favorite blanket that will last a lifetime!

Our kits are packaged in a lovely organza bag, perfect for storing your project until completed and then gifting when finished.

Weave Structure: Shadow Weave

Yarns: 8/4 Cottons

Equipment needed: 8-shaft loom, 37" weaving width, 8 dent reed, 2 shuttles, 2 bobbins

Finished size: one throw 32 1/2" x 52" plus 4" fringe

Beautiful yarns

I haven't begun weaving yet, but the color kit I chose, the brown and rust, are lovely and vibrant yarns, soft but stillstrong enough I can't break them easily. I think they will weave up beautifully. Also customer service was outstanding, Jodi was very helpful when I had questions, I couldn't be happier
