Berry Punch Towels
There’s something a little magical about creating a pattern in plain weave simply by changing the order of the colors.
Houndstooth is a classic color-and-weave pattern, traditionally woven with two colors. For Berry Punch, a third color is added, creating an interesting effect that almost feels like a little optical illusion.
Inspired by summer berries, three delicious shades of pink and purple were chosen for a bright, playful combination. And while the pattern may look complicated, the weave structure is still plain weave. You’ll have three shuttles to manage, but once you find your rhythm, the weaving becomes quite straightforward.
Berry Punch is woven with doubled cotton bouclé in both the warp and weft, creating thick, soft, absorbent towels that become even fluffier with every wash. To make weaving even easier, each of the three colors in your kit is wound onto two cones, so you can easily wind each shuttle with a double strand.
