This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave these Box of Chocolates Towels that were designed by Michele Marshall of Mingo's Corner Shop.

Box of Chocolates - A mixed assortment of chocolate cream candies, it's a surprise in each little wrapper! These towels are a bit like that in that the 3-shaft patterns appear in boxes and in different "flavors" across the rows of these towels! Each a little different, some more involved than others, but all entirely achievable on a rigid heddle loom with two heddles.

New color just added! Michele Marshall worked up a beautiful blue version which she is calling Box of Snowflakes!

She has also worked up the draft for a 16” loom size for those that have smaller looms or want to weave smaller size hand towels.

This is a rigid heddle project for the first-time adventurer into multi-shaft weaving on the rigid heddle loom.

Weave structure:  3-shaft weaving on two heddles

Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 Cottons

Equipment needed: rigid heddle loom; 20" weaving width; TWO 12 or 12.5 dent reeds; 5 stick shuttles. (Michele has also written the draft for 16" weaving width)

Finished size:  two towels, 16”x 30” hemmed.

Instructions needed: Box of Chocolates Towels Pattern. Visit Mingo's Corner Shop on Etsy to purchase this pattern. The pattern includes charts as well as written directions. The weaving patterns progress from simple to complex and each step and heddle lift is both diagrammed and written. Michele is also available to help with any questions that come up.

Note:  This kit includes all yarns needed to weave these towels.  The pattern can be found on Etsy at mingoscornershop.  You will need to purchase this pattern separately from this kit.
