Bread Bags

Add a handmade touch to your kitchen with this charming Bread Bags weaving project, designed by Angela Tong and featured in the Holiday 2020 issue of Little Looms magazine.

Woven in soft Mallo Cotton using a simple plain weave structure, each kit makes two bags. The bags share the same warp colors, while a different weft color is used for each bag, giving you two coordinating designs from the same warp. Clay is used as the base color, with several accent color combinations available to choose from. Each kit includes the yarn needed to weave both bags.

Equipment needed: Rigid-heddle loom, 15" weaving width; 12-dent heddle; 2 shuttles.

Finished size: two bread bags 1½" x 14¼" each
