There’s something magical about the quiet stillness of a morning, the soft glow of sunlight streaming through the window, and the warmth of your favorite mug in hand.

Our Brew-tiful Morning Towels are designed to complement those serene moments, bringing a sense of calm and grounded beauty to your kitchen.

Crafted in warm, earthy tones, these towels evoke the comfort of freshly brewed coffee or a steaming cup of tea, creating a connection to the simple pleasures of your morning ritual. Let their texture and color wrap your space in cozy charm, inviting you to savor the peace of a new day.

Both sets of Brew-tiful Morning Towels share a warm, cozy color palette that feels like a comforting cup of coffee or tea. Light brown and cocoa bring depth, while peach and rust add brightness and vibrancy. These colors create a harmonious blend perfect for weaving this eye-catching pattern. However, the real magic happens when we pair these hues with different base colors: natural or black. Choose your favorite or weave a set of both! Save $10 when ordering both!

  • Cream & Caramel: Gentle and light, the natural base lets the warm tones shine with a subtle glow. The houndstooth pattern feels timeless and understated, while the color-and-weave sections exude a gentle elegance.
  • Espress-Oh!: Bold, dramatic, and modern, the black base deepens the warm tones, making them appear richer and more intense. The houndstooth pattern becomes striking and graphic, while the color-and-weave sections pop with a contemporary flair.

Weave structure:  plain weave/houndstooth with color and weave

Equipment needed:  Rigid Heddle or 4-Shaft Loom; 18.2” weaving width; 10 dent reed; 6 stick shuttles or a double bobbin boat shuttle.

Warp and Weft Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 Cottons, Light Brown, Peach, Rust, and Light Cocoa, paired with either natural or black. Both warp and weft yarns are doubled.

Finished Dimensions: three towels 15” x 23” hemmed.

Pattern Included: You will receive the pattern in your kit, and we will also email a PDF pattern when your kit is shipped.

Love it, but!

I really love these towels! But, I decided not to weave the end block as I did not want towels that long. And I am glad i did as I would not have had enough of the black.

Maybe, my ppi was wrong and I always seem to be tighter on the right side. I am right handed. I did try only pressing the warp in the left and middle.

I do love dealing with Cotton Clouds. Thanks Jodi for always tempting me to buy more. 😆

Is my face red!

After reading on the blog in greater detail did I see that the warp threads are doubled as well as the weft threads therefore rendering a sett of 10 epi and 10 ppi. I think it's more the tendency of 2/4/8/etc shaft weavers to sley 8/2 cotton individually and go for an 18 or 20 epi in plain weave. My apologies!

Instructions should be corrected

I think the instructions for the multi shaft loom is incorrect. Look closely at the towel photos and you'll see it is plain weave. That means if the weft was doubled for each weft pick, the towel would look like a half basket weave and would not give you a hounds tooth pattern. These color and weave towels should be woven with 1 strand at a time changing your shed after each pick. (2 picks natural, 2 picks peach, 2 picks natural, 2 picks peach, etc)

Love the Colors!

I love the colors of the towels, but I wasn't aware when I bought the pattern that it called for using two strands together for the weft. I have a floor loom, but do not have a double shuttle and I think the towels would be thicker than I want. I may try to convert the pattern to single strands. I just wish I would have reviewed the pattern before purchasing.
