Easy to weave and endlessly practical, this set is a charming addition to any kitchen or a thoughtful handmade gift.
Weave structure: plain weave with color and weave
Equipment needed: Rigid heddle loom; 10” weaving width; 10 dent reed; 6 shuttles.
Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 Cottons in light cocoa, chocolate, light brown, and cinnamon, with Cotton Essentials DK sage and terra cotta.
Other Supplies needed but not included in kit: Insul-Bright batting, Pellon Wrap-N-Zap, or cotton batting, ½ yd; coordinating cotton quilting fabric, ½ yd.
Finished size: one oven mitt 5½" × 12" and one hot pad 7" × 13½".
Instructions needed: Easy Weaving with Little Looms Fall 2025, pages 75 and 84.
This kit includes all the yarns needed to weave one oven mitt and one hot pad. The pattern can be found in the magazine noted above. You will need to purchase this magazine if you don't already own a copy.
