Classic Plain Weave & Twill Towels
Weaving striped towels provides opportunities for playing with color using only unbleached cotton as weft making a beautiful striped towel but adding weft stripes in twill. In the towel shown here, narrow twill stripes were woven at each end, one turquoise and one green.
With the same yarns as are in the towel, a narrow warp-faced band was woven to make loops for a hanger at both ends.
