Aurora Earth is an all-purpose, unmercerized cotton in a full spectrum of colors.
Versatile for every type of towel, table linen and style of clothing. Strong enough for warp and weft and machine knitting.
Weaving Aurora Earth in a simple tabby pattern will give you a nice, homespun fabric. Huck, basket & waffle weaves also work well with this 8/2. Whenever a pattern calls for 8/2 cotton, this is the yarn of choice.
Although these are called "mini cones", they are anything but mini. It's a great way to stock your craft room with a spectrum of color. This 8/2 cotton is 3360 yards/lb.

I love the Aurora Earth 8/2 cotton 4 and 8 ounce cones. It is available in so many beautiful colors and the small cones are reasonable so I can have a large stash to work with. I use it mostly doubled for towels for both warp and weft and the towels are a nice weight and very durable and soft after wet washing. Try it and you will be hooked!
