Log Cabin Towel Set

Log cabin is an amazing color-and-weave effect!

When looking at this weave structure you would never believe that only two colors in plain weave would produce such an intricate look.

There seems to be so much more going on than just over-and-under plain weave.

Each set makes a total of four towels. 

• Fourth of July:  Royal Blue/Natural and Lipstick/Natural towels. 
• Merlot:  Black/Natural and Wine/Natural towels.                          
• Lavender Fields:  Periwinkle/Natural and Sage/Natural towels

Fabric Description: plain weave/log cabin

Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 cotton

Equipment needed: Rigid Heddle loom; 24" weaving width; 10 dent reed; three shuttles

Finished size: four towels 20” x 30” each
