Crackle Weave Napkins

Classic gingham meets rich texture in the Crackle Weave Napkins. Woven in Crackle Weave, a twill-based block structure, these napkins feature crisp patterning created through the interplay of tabby and pattern wefts. The result is a fabric with depth, movement, and a beautifully balanced graphic quality.

Crackle Weave is an excellent structure for exploring block designs on a 4-shaft loom. As with other block weaves, the pattern is reversed on the opposite side of the cloth, adding an extra layer of interest and versatility to the finished napkins.

Woven with Mallo Cotton Slub and accented with Duet Cotton/Linen, these napkins have a soft hand and subtle texture that enhance the gingham design without overpowering it. The weaving process offers an engaging rhythm and a satisfying balance of structure and creativity, making this a rewarding project for intermediate weavers.

Perfect for everyday use or special gatherings, these napkins bring a timeless look to the table with a touch of handmade character.

The kit price reflects the inclusion of full-size cones and the expanded creative possibilities they offer.
