A Very Merry Twist Scarf Pattern
A little twist here, a little texture there, and a whole lot of cozy! This scarf pattern combines soft cotton yarns with decorative 2:2 Leno accents at both ends. This fun technique twists pairs of warp threads around each other to create an open, lacy detail that adds something special to the design. Finish it off with braided fringe, and you have a scarf full of handmade charm!
Whether you weave on a rigid heddle or a 4-shaft loom, this project is a fun way to add a new technique to your weaving repertoire. The Leno accents and braided fringe give the scarf its distinctive look, while the soft cotton makes it a pleasure to wrap up in on a chilly day.
Enjoy adding a little twist to your next project!
