This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave these Escher Placemats that were designed by Michele Marshall for Easy Weaving with Little Looms Spring 2024.

The rotating staircases in M.C. Escher's art seem captured in this block-weave pattern. Though they look complex, these placemats are not difficult to weave. Set up your two heddles and a pick-up stick, follow the weaving sequence, and you're on your way!

Note: This is a two heddle project.

Weave structure:  plain weave with color and weave

Yarns: 8/4 Cotton Rug Warp

Equipment needed: rigid heddle loom; 17" weaving width; TWO 12 or 12.5-dent reed; 6 shuttles; 1 pick-up stick.

Instructions needed: Easy Weaving with Little Looms Spring 2024 pages 56 and 64-65.
