This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave these Floating Shadows Towels that were designed by Susan Porter for Handwoven Jan/Feb 2015, pages 60-62.

Is this log cabin or is this shadow weave!?

These towels are actually shadow weave but take on the look of log cabin with a floating affect.

Each kit comes with natural and the color of your choice.

Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 cottons

Note: We have made substitutions for the 8/2 cotton in this kit with our Aurora Earth 8/2 cottons.

Equipment needed: 4-shaft loom; 10 dent reed; 22" weaving width; 2 shuttles; 3 bobbins.

Finished size: four towels 19 x 26" with 1/2" hems

Instructions needed: Handwoven January/February 2015 from Long Thread Media.
