This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave these Folk Art Towels that were designed by Suzie Liles for Handwoven Mar/Apr 2014, pages 42-43.

These Ukrainian style towels will brighten up your home with colors of black, lipstick red and bright yellow.

Suzie Liles got her inspiration from the Ukrainian Aprons worn by girls of rural southeastern Europe who spent their whole childhoods weaving and sewing beautiful garments and costumes.

Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 cotton.

Equipment needed: 8-shaft loom; 25" weaving width; 10-dent reed; 2 shuttles

Finished size: four hemmed towels, 21" x 30" each.

Instructions needed: Handwoven March/April 2014 from Long Thread Media.
