This ginned Upland Cotton is a short staple cotton.  It's comfortable to spin. and a very soft and lofty fiber that requires little, if any carding preparation before spinning.

Simply fluff a palm-full in your hand and begin spinning.  The long draw is best in spinning this shorter staple cotton.

Its smooth matte finish is also very suitable for dyeing.

Grown on a family farm in Arizona and ginned in Cochise County.

Upland Cotton is the most commonly planted agricultural cotton and provides 90% of the world's needs.
