This kit includes all the yarns needed to weave four towels which are featured in Deborah Jarchow's Rigid Heddle Weaving Basics & Beyond book.

Leno is a finger-controlled weave structure that gives a lovely airy and lacey look to your weaving.  The Leno technique is easy to set up and is woven along with plain weave.  Deborah has combined colorful warp stripes, making this towel a winner that you will enjoy weaving and using.

These towels are woven using Cotton Supreme, 100% cotton, a soft, worsted-weight cotton.  They make great housewarming gifts and are available in shades of blue, green, and yellow.  

Weave Structure:  plain weave with Leno

Warp Yarns: Cotton Supreme in 5 colors (Azure, Teal, Daiquiri, Herb Green, Ocean)

Weft Yarns: Cotton Supreme in 4 colors (Azure, Teal, Daiquiri, Ocean)

Note: Cotton Supreme yarns come in twist skeins that will need to be wound into balls before starting this project.

Equipment Needed: rigid heddle loom; 16" weaving width; 7.5 dent reed; 4 shuttles; Rigid Heddle Weaving Basics & Beyond Book for the instructions.

These towels can easily be adjusted for different-sized looms.  Order two kits to make wider towels.

Finished Size: four towels 13 1/2" x 22" hemmed.
