Weave these Hand Towels with Leno Lace and join Deborah Jarchow's upcoming Zoom Tutorial!

This kit includes all the yarns needed to weave four towels which are featured in Deborah Jarchow's Rigid Heddle Weaving Basics & Beyond book.

Leno is a finger-controlled weave structure that gives a lovely airy and lacey look to your weaving.  The Leno technique is easy to set up and is woven along with plain weave.  Deborah has combined colorful warp stripes, making this towel a winner that you will enjoy weaving and using.

These towels are woven using Cotton Supreme, 100% cotton, a soft, worsted-weight cotton.  They make great housewarming gifts and are available in shades of blue, green, and yellow. Cotton Supreme yarns normally come on twist skeins, but we have wound all the yarns for this kit onto cones to make warping and weaving more enjoyable. Extra yardage is also included in the kits.

The Zoom classes with Deborah Jarchow will be held on Sunday, September 24 from 12:00-2:00 or 3:00-5:00 Pacific time. This class is designed to demonstrate the Leno technique.  Deborah will show a PowerPoint presentation with tips on setting up the loom and weaving wider projects.  She’ll also show some ways to make it a bit easier to keep track of where to twist the warp threads when weaving Leno.  And last, but not least, she will talk about ways to hem and wet finish the project.  We love Deborah's online classes where we get to interact with fellow weavers and always learn something new!

You can sign up by messaging Deborah Jarchow at djweaves@earthlink.net. The cost for this class is $25 and everyone who participates in the class will receive a $10 gift card from Cotton Clouds!

Payment for the class is available with Paypal or you can mail a check to Deborah Jarchow, 6037 E Empire Ave., Prescott Valley, AZ 86314. If paying by check, payment needs to be received by Deborah, one week before the class.

We will be keeping the class small so that everyone has time to ask questions and participate. Be sure to sign up early to reserve your spot.

You can weave these towels with the instructions from the book, but we highly recommend joining Deborah's class to interact with fellow weavers and learn lots of new tips and techniques.
