I loved this project as it made me comfortable with using the pick up stick. A great project and a confidence builder.
Beautiful Pick Up Pattern
This kit was one of the monthly weaving challenges on Cotton Clouds so there is an accompanying blog post with helpful tips. You have to remove your pick up stick with each block and pick up alternate warp ends in order to get the alternating textured blocks, but it isn’t difficult once you get in the flow and the results are beautiful! I’ll definitely do this one again.
Nice pattern and color choice
This was a great pattern that taught me pick-up stick used to create different texture in towels. You can make a plain weave towel or textured. I did both.
These towels turned out just like the pictures! I made one of each - pick up stick and plain weave - wowing the weavers at my local rigid heddle group. Love the yarn, pattern was easy to follow. Need more practice on the yarn color changes though.
Love these towels
These are by far my favorite towels. Love the softness and the design effect of the pickup sticks. I am making more!!!
