Homestyle Plaid Towels
Weaving plaid is so much fun and it’s a great way to make interesting color effect in your handwoven project.
These Homestyle Plaid Towels can be woven in plain weave or texture weave with a pick-up stick.
We are offering this kit in the color shown, Peach, Natural and Chocolate or a Christmas theme of Lipstick, Natural and Winter Green.
We would also love for you to choose your own colors for this towel kit by picking three colors from our Aurora Earth 8/2 cottons and we will make a special kit just for you! Add "Choose Your Own Color" option in the drop-down menu and then let us know your three color selections in the comment section in the shopping cart and we will customize your kit.

We have a 15" version of this pattern available for anyone who wants to weave these towels on their Cricket Loom or smaller size looms.
Weave Structure: plain weave and texture weave. You can weave both towels in plain weave, both in texture weave, or one of each.
Equipment needed: Rigid Heddle Loom; 10 dent heddle; 22” weaving width; 4 shuttles; 1 pick-up stick
Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 Cottons; main color 1120 yds, Natural 768 yds, accent color 192 yds. (You can also choose other colors as your main, secondary and accent color.)
Total warp ends: 440
Note: These towels can also be woven on a smaller loom. We will help adjust the warp ends per request.
Finished size: two hemmed towels, approx. 17” x 28” in texture weave; 18” x 31” in plain weave. (We also have a 15" version for this pattern to weave four smaller size towels. Leave a comment at checkout if you would like this adjusted pattern)
