Huck Windows Dish Towels Weaving Kit
Designed by Marjorie Erickson for Handwoven May/June 2003

Weave a set of stunning, award-winning dish towels that beautifully blend form and function. Originally featured on the cover of Handwoven magazine, these Huck Windows Towels showcase a clever play between plain weave and floats, creating charming circular motifs within a classic design.

This kit includes all the Aurora Earth 8/2 and Cotton Tail 8/4 yarns needed to weave four towels measuring approximately 15" x 23" each.

Please note: The original version was woven in cottolin, but this kit uses 100% cotton for a soft, absorbent, and easy-to-weave alternative.

Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 cottons in Maize and Royal Blue; along with Cotton Tail 8/4 White.

Equipment needed: 4-shaft loom, 17" weaving width; 8-dent reed; 3 shuttles

Finished size: four towels 15" x 23"

Instructions needed: Handwoven May/June 2003 pages 28-31, available from Long Thread Media.
