M & O Baby Blankets
Weave two baby blankets on one warp in two colorways. It's a great way to play with M's & O's patterning and discover how colors in the pattern change simply by exchanging shuttles!
We've put together a kit that will allow you to put on one warp (in white) and weave one blanket that is predominately turquoise and one predominately yellow.
It's always good to have lots of baby blankets on hand! If you are a young weaver, you'll love the experience of weaving your child's very special blanket. Or if you are a seasoned weaver, your friends and grandchildren will cherish this extra special gift of a super soft blanket.
Weave Structure: M's & O's
Yarns: 8/2 Aurora Earth, 8/2 variegated and 10/2 cotton for the hems.
Finished size: two blankets 32" x 35" hemmed.
Equipment needed: 4-shaft loom; 38" weaving width; 10 dent reed
