This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave My First Log Cabin Tea Towels that were designed by The Rogue Weaver, Tammy Bast.

Log cabin is a very popular and easy pattern to weave on your rigid heddle loom. This pattern is geared towards beginners even though it looks complicated.

Weave structure: plain weave log cabin

Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 Cottons in black and the color of choice. There are four color options listed but we can make your kit in any of the Aurora Earth colors.  If you want a different color, click on Choose Your Own Color in the drop-down menu and let us know what colors you would like in the comment section in the shopping cart.

Equipment needed: rigid heddle loom; 24" weaving width; 10 dent reed; 2 shuttles

Finished size:  two towels 19” x 29” hemmed.


Instructions needed:  My First Log Cabin Tea Towels Pattern from therogueweaver.com. The pattern is geared towards beginners and includes 15 instructional videos and 12 pages of written instruction and pictures!  You’ll find check lists and colored charts so you can use what works
best for you, links to blog posts, and so many tips aimed at making this *almost* as good as attending a class!
