Paintbox Plaid Towels
This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave these Paintbox Plaid Towels that are designed by Michele Marshall of Mingo's Corner Shop.
Variegated cotton and log cabin patterning make for an interesting plain weave - and therefore fast project! The Paintbox Plaid Towels make a great gift set featuring a log cabin plaid on towel one and a faster, variegated, stripe on towel two.
This pattern is suitable for advanced beginners ready to explore plain weave featuring color-and-weave patterns.
You will need a rigid heddle loom with a 22", but of course, you can remove stripes from the warp and weft to make a narrower towel.
Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 Cottons and 8/2 Variegated Cotton.
Equipment needed: Rigid Heddle Loom; 22" weaving width; 10-dent reed; 5 shuttles.

Finished Size: two towels 18.5" x 26" hemmed.
