Pink Lemonade Towels

Designed by Tammy Bast of The Rogue Weaver, the Pink Lemonade Towels are a cheerful celebration of color and texture. Inspired by a refreshing glass of pink lemonade on a warm summer day, these towels bring a bright, fresh feel to any kitchen.

Woven in simple plain weave, this project lets the beautiful colors and soft texture of cotton bouclé shine. While bouclé asks for a little extra attention at the loom, the reward is well worth it. The finished towels are wonderfully soft, highly absorbent, and become even fluffier with each wash.

The pattern includes instructions for weaving two coordinating towels on the same warp. The first towel follows a planned color sequence, while the second encourages you to have fun experimenting with the remaining yarns, creating a one-of-a-kind towel that's uniquely your own.

Weave structure: patterning using pick-up sticks and string heddles.

Yarns: Cotton Texture Boucle in Limette Pale, Jaune Fonce, Rose Fonce, and Rose Pale.

Equipment needed
• 24” rigid heddle loom
• 10 dent reed
• 4 stick shuttles

Finished size: two towels 18" x 25" hemmed.
