Placemats in Two Block Summer & Winter

This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave these placemats that were designed by Marianne Steiner and Janice Jones for Long Thread Media.

Summer & Winter is an especially sturdy pattern weave and an ideal weave structure for placemats. These placemats use cotton that can be easily machine washed and dried for everyday practical use.

Weave structure: Summer & Winter

Yarns: 8/2 Aurora Earth 100% unmercerized cotton and Monte Cristo

Equipment needed: 4-shaft loom; 15" weaving width; 12 dent reed

Finished size: four hemmed placemats 12" x 20" each
