Pure Delight Towels
This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to create the beautiful Pure Delight Towels, designed by Deanna Deeds and featured on the cover of Handwoven January/February 2015.
Like many texture weaves, this pattern is a bit of a surprise—the magic really happens in the finishing. While the design may appear subtle on the loom, wet finishing transforms the fabric, revealing a rich texture that truly lives up to its name.
Woven in Atwater-Bronson lace and turned Atwater-Bronson lace, these towels have a light, airy feel with wonderful visual interest. The combination of structure and finishing creates towels that are both elegant and functional.
This kit uses Aurora Earth 8/2 cotton as a substitute for the original cottolin, offering a soft, absorbent result that’s perfect for everyday use. You’ll weave four towels total—two in a calming blue colorway and two in a fresh green colorway.
