Queen Anne’s Lace

Queen Anne’s Lace is a beautifully textured thick-and-thin bouclé cotton that adds wonderful dimension to woven and knitted fabrics. The combination of smooth cotton with soft loops creates a lively surface that brings depth and character to your projects.

With 1650 yards per pound, this yarn works well for lightweight fabrics with a unique, nubby texture. It can be used in both warp and weft, though it has very little stretch, so when using it as warp, pair it with other Cotton Clouds' yarns, such as Cloud Cotton Boucle, Aurora Earth, and Cotton Tail.

The thicker areas of the yarn are stable, but they do require a little extra room in the reed. Be sure to allow adequate space in your reed when sleying.
