Rattlesnake Towels
Designed by Susan Kessler Simpson and featured in The Magic of Summer and Winter Weaving.
Add a little wild character to your kitchen with the Rattlesnake Towels! This fun design features a winding rattlesnake motif woven in a simple color and weave pattern. As you weave, the snake pattern gradually takes shape across the towel, creating a playful design with plenty of visual interest.
Weave Structure: summer and winter
Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 Cottons nile green, natural, dark green, saffron, light brown, bright red, and black.
Please note: The Cinnamon color originally shown in the pattern is no longer available and has been replaced with saffron in this kit.
Equipment needed: 8-shaft loom; 17” weaving width; 10-dent reed; 2 shuttles; assorted bobbins.
Finished Dimensions: hemmed towels 16.5" x 23.5".
