This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave these Day at the Beach Towels that were designed by Jenny Sennott for Handwoven, May/June 2018, pages 56–57.

These kitchen towels are inspired by “beachy” colors: the sand, sky, waves, jellyfish and seashells that are relished on beach walks.

Our kits are packaged in a lovely organza bag, perfect for storing your project until completed and then gifting the finished project.

Weave Structure: Plain weave with warp floats

Yarns: Cotton Tail 100% unmercerized cotton

The yarns in the original pattern are no longer available. We have made a substitute with Cotton Tail yarns that are similar. The colors of Cotton Tail that are used include Natural, Teal, Baby Blue and Vanilla.

Equipment needed: Rigid Heddle Loom; 19” weaving width; 12 dent reed; 1 shuttle; 2 pick-up sticks

Finished Dimensions: 2 towels 15½" × 23 each
