April Showers Towels Pattern
I love the time of year when the clouds start to build and the cool rain showers start to fall.
I happily endure the clouds of April with the promise of new life they bring to the flowers that will soon be in bloom.
I hope you enjoy weaving these clean, crisp, natural towels that remind me that the rain showers of spring bring beauty to our earth and to our soul.
Weave Structure: Pick-up technique
Equipment needed: Rigid Heddle Loom (2-shaft); 23.8” width; 10-dent reed; 2 stick shuttles; 1 pick-up stick
Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 100% unmercerized cotton.
Finished Dimensions: two or four towels 20” x 30” hemmed.
