Beautiful Pattern!

I have made these towels three times now and I just love them! The diamond pattern is beautiful! You have to remove and reinsert the pick-up sticks to get the diamonds, but you only need to do this for the borders of the towels, so it doesn’t become tedious. It’s actually the most enjoyable part of the pattern to weave for me. These towels are generously sized and the diamonds stand out on the background both in color and texture. The Light Turk/ Royal Blue are my favorite because the colors just seem to “vibrate” off each other. I also wove Charcoal/Silver and Purple/Perwinkle. I prefer the back side to the front because the diamonds are in the dark color on the back and show up more, so I plan to hem them “backwards “ in the future. I’m looking forward to weaving more of these in other colors!
