Home Sweet Home Placemats
Weave with a pick-up stick to add lots of texture using your rigid heddle loom!
Using pick-up sticks are the equivalent of adding shafts to your loom. The yarns are picked up behind the heddle and the stick is left in the warp to be used when the weaver wants to use it to create floats, breaking the over/under pattern of plain weave.
Now you can weave these reversible placemats in this 1/3 warp float pattern decorating your home in fun, colorful stripes. Perfect for your Cricket Loom or any rigid heddle loom!
