Tic Tac Toe Towels

Are you ready for something a little more exciting than stripes and checks? This plain weave towel is anything but plain.

The beauty of this towel is all in the threading and weaving.  A simple pattern that repeats in the warp and weft creates a towel that will wow anyone.

Weave structure: plain weave

Skill Level: Intermediate…The pattern itself is not difficult, however it will take some
concentration to warp correctly and patience to use multiple shuttles.

Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 Cotton

Equipment needed: rigid heddle loom; 24” weaving width, 10 dent reed, 3 shuttles (boat or stick)

Finished size:  Pattern makes 2 tea towels approximately 19”x 26”
