This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave this Ripples Scarf that was designed by Denise Bolger Kovnat for Handwoven, Nov/Dec 2022, pages 42-44.

Texture is a vital element in weaving but one that is often overlooked. Used in combination with pattern and color, texture enhances the look and feel of weaving.

This scarf goes from black and gray stripes on the loom to vertical curves and crinkles after wet-finishing. No ironing is ever needed!

Weave structure:  Doubleweave

Yarns: 20/2 Perle Cotton and Linen Crepe

Equipment needed: 4-shaft loom with 16” weaving width; 12 dent reed; 2 shuttles

Finished size: 1 scarf 5-7" (collapsed weave) x 69" plus 4 1/2" twisted fringe (note: scarf is 12" wide when outstretched)

Instructions needed: Handwoven November/December 2022 available from Long Thread Media.

This kit includes all yarns needed to weave this scarf.  The pattern can be found in the Handwoven magazine noted above.  You will need to purchase this magazine if you don't already own a copy.
