Beautiful stripes and rich texture come together in a woven piece made for the season ahead. Our Seasons to Remember Table Runner & Towels are projects made to be enjoyed on the loom and remembered long after the last thread is woven.

As the seasons change and the holidays begin to come into view, there’s something especially meaningful about bringing a little more handmade charm into our homes. Seasons to Remember was designed for this time of year, with rich color, beautiful texture, and the kind of timeless cotton weaving that feels right at home on a holiday table or wrapped up as a thoughtful handmade gift.

One of the things we love most about this project is the way a simple pick-up stick can transform a rigid heddle loom. By lifting a selected group of warp threads, the pick-up stick acts like a third shaft, allowing us to create the textured pattern usually associated with a multi-shaft weave. This means both rigid heddle and multi-shaft weavers can enjoy the same beautiful design, using a technique that adds so much character to the finished fabric.
