Silk Diamonds Table Runner

Weave diamonds and lace in this design by Michele Marshall from Mingo's Corner Shop!

Michele used a combination of plain weave and Brook's Bouquet to evoke the interlacement designs often found in European Illuminated texts.

We have a limited supply of these Silk Diamonds Table Runner kits.  The ribbon yarn has been discontinued but we were able to find the exact ribbon that was used in this project and only offer this kit until the ribbon yarn is gone.

This weaving kit includes all the yarns and beads needed to weave this Silk Diamonds Table Runner that was designed by Michele Marshall for Easy Weaving With Little Looms Summer 2024.

Weave structure: plain weave with Brook's Bouquet

Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 100% Cotton in color Dark Green and Autumn Leaves Ribbon 100% nylon.

Other Supplies: Floss threader; 6/0 glass beads in coordinating colors; 7–8 mm ribbon, 9 yd. (These items are included in your kit)

Original Yarns Used: The Reclaimed Cotton that was originally used for warp and weft is no longer available.  We have made the substitution with Aurora Earth 8/2 Cotton as recommended. The green in this kit differs from the original project and is a dark forest green rather than the teal green shown. This kit includes the ribbon yarn that was originally used in the pattern.

Equipment needed: rigid heddle loom; 13" weaving width; 10 dent reed; 1 shuttle. 

Finished size:  one runner, 10" x 50” plus 3" fringe.

This kit includes all yarns needed to weave this runner.  The pattern can be found in the Easy Weaving With Little Looms Magazine noted above.  You will need to purchase this magazine separately from this kit.
