Softball Cotton

Love this yarn. I am such a Cotton Clouds fan!

I really do love Softball Cotton. It's perfect for baby blankets and as accent stripes in warps for many projects.
One thing I noticed about this batch is that it is about twice as thick as some Softball that I had left over from years ago. I assumed it would be the same, and I am using it in the same blanket. All I have done so far is measure the warp and thread the reed. The discrepancy between the old and the new may be a bit of a drag, or it may play out wonderfully.
But I do think that it should be taken into consideration if one orders Softball based on what it used to be like. Both the thinner and the thicker versions are very soft and lovely.

I was working on a woven piece a and it suggested a certain yarn. It wasn't what I needed. So I searched for some other cotton yarn and I saw Softball Cotton. I ordered it and it was perfect! Made my woven piece stand out more than I expected!
