Spiders Towels
Designed by Susan Kessler Simpson and featured in The Magic of Summer and Winter Weaving.
These are the only spiders I ever want to see in my house! The playful spider design makes these towels just right for the Halloween season.
They’re a fun project to weave as these eight legged little creatures march across the fabric, adding a bit of spooky charm without being too scary.
Weave Structure: summer and winter
Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 Cottons white, orange, and black.
Equipment needed: 8-shaft loom; 17” weaving width; 10-dent reed; 2 shuttles; 3 bobbins.
Finished Dimensions: hemmed towels 17" x 24".
