Spring Forward Towels

This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave these Spring Forward Towels that were designed by Michele Marshall for Easy Weaving with Little Looms Spring 2024.

Spring in Michele’s region announces itself with bright colors. Magenta from the redbud, crisp white from the dogwood, bright yellow daffodils, and purple wildflowers.

She designed these rigid-heddle towels to celebrate the floral colors of spring and all the joy they bring.

Weave structure:  plain weave with color and weave

Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 Cottons and Monte Cristo Boucle

We've included the weft yarns on two cones so that you can easily wind your shuttles double strand.

Equipment needed: rigid heddle loom; 24" weaving width; 10-dent reed; 5 shuttles.

Finished size:  two towels 19" × 31" and 19" × 26" hemmed.

Instructions needed: Easy Weaving with Little Looms Spring 2024 pages 53 and 59.
