I loved weaving the SpringTote!

I loved weaving the SpringTote! It was such fun to weave with the pickup stick and the resulting pattern with the 6 colors was beautiful. I did have a broken warp thread (I think due to my catching one thread with the reed hook of the 2 ply yarn) but given how busy the pattern was, it was not evident. While I think the tote is very cute, I wish it was a bit wider. After shrinkage the width was only 8 inches which is pretty narrow for a tote bag.

Beautiful Weaving Pattern

I just finished weaving this tote bag and I had so much fun doing it. This is going to be a Mother's Day gift for my mom who is 88 years old. I am a fairly new weaver and the instructions were very easy to follow. I had enough warp on my loom to also make a small runner using the same pattern. This was also my first time using a pick up stick. Thank you for putting these wonderful kits together.
